Arrives to Imago by train after his home gets destroyed by a hurricane. A kind and meek, but melancholic man, who upon meeting Rose postpones his plan to end his own life.

Waitress at a local café. A romantic girl with a difficult childhood and a mild kleptomania. Theo makes a huge impression on her.

Johnny "Gemini" Kraus
Age: 27
Younger brother of the notorious gang leader: Eric Kraus, who recently served his prison sentence and childhood friend of Tammy Hodges.

Tammy Hodges
Age: 25
Sister of Max Hodges and fiancée of deputy Liam Jackson. She has difficulties telling fantasy and reality apart, a condition for which she medicates herself.

Wyatt Jackson
Age: 52
The Sheriff of Imago. He has his own way of doing things.

Liam Jackson
Age: 26
Deputy to the Sheriff, son of Wyatt and Margaret Jackson, engaged to Tammy Hodges. Not many take him seriously.

Rose's grandmother. She's rather direct and crafty.

Meanwhile, Theo spends some time with Gemma and learns that finding a job in Imago as an outsider is not as easy as he imagined.
